Here you’ll find the odds and ends, the little scraps, and the random musings that come out of a life lived between the past and present.

As an archaeologist, fiber artist, and living historian, I wear a lot of different hats (both literal and metaphorical).

Each of these areas inform the others: fiber arts (especially spinning) got me involved in the living history community, and working with historic sites got me into archaeology when I was trying to figure out what I really wanted to be when I grew up.
